Compatibility

Which vehicles work with Scepter Battery?

One size, approved vehicles only

Scepter Battery comes in a single size and weight. During the pilot it swaps into approved electric two-wheelers; tricycles and other vehicles join once each model has passed separate validation. Any charged pack at any station fits an approved vehicle, so there is nothing to choose.

Capacity, weight and range figures will be published once engineering validation of the pack is complete.

Lifetime access terms

  • The battery belongs to SunErrand; you get access to a charged pack for as long as your plan or pay-as-you-go account is in good standing. This is a lifetime access promise, not a claim about how long any physical battery lasts.
  • Swap at any operating pilot station — every pack fits every approved vehicle.
  • Damaged or overheating packs are held in the station for inspection, you are not charged, and our support team contacts you about next steps.
  • Full service terms are shared before you sign up and will be reviewed before general launch.

The swap

What happens at the station

  1. Scan and return

    Scan the station QR in the ScepterGrid app. A door unlocks; put your battery in. The station reads its chip and checks it for faults and heat.

  2. Safe pack issued

    Only a charged, compatible pack that has passed its safety checks is released. A second door unlocks once your card is charged the exact price.

  3. Receipt

    You get a receipt showing the energy delivered, the battery access fee and VAT, priced on the tariff in force at that moment.

Scepter-branded batteries

SunErrand's own packs, built to the Scepter Interface Specification from qualified cells and components.

Scepter-Certified Partner batteries

Packs from approved makers that have passed lab, firmware, cabinet and field tests. No arbitrary third-party packs: compatibility is never self-declared.

A record for every serial number

Each pack's warranty, owner, state of health, custody history, recalls and retirement are recorded. A recalled pack is taken out of service at the station or when it is next returned.
